I am incredibly fortunate to live a very privileged life. I am endlessly grateful for this, and the desire to give something back to people who are less fortunate and to create something meaningful and sustainable has grown stronger and stronger.

I spent a long time researching, pondering, and weighing the options to determine the most sensible approach. To ensure sustainability, it became clear that establishing a small charitable foundation in Austria, while somewhat unusual (and administratively challenging), was a path I gladly accepted. Together with lawyers, we meticulously refined and tweaked the foundation charter, but finally, the time had come! In November 2022, the small but distinguished charitable "Claudia Ricica-Bruckner-Bruckner Private Foundation" was established.

 

With great heart and passion, we want to improve the lives of disadvantaged people.

• People who are not reached by the large, traditional aid organizations

• Small projects that have a big impact on individuals

• Often even small things can make people happy

• Look where others don't look

 

Why Asia in particular?

• Because you can achieve a lot with relatively little money

• Because I've always been drawn to Asia and it's my second home

 

Why is the main focus on Nepal?

• Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world

• There are wonderful personal contacts in Nepal

• This personal connection ensures that 100% of donations actually reach those in need. All activities, expenditures, and services are handled transparently and can be disclosed at any time.
